What are your taproom hours and location?
We’re open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Located in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Happy Hour runs Tuesday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM with special pricing on all draft beers. We’re closed Sundays and Mondays.
Do you offer brewery tours?
Absolutely! We offer guided brewery tours where you can see our brewing process from grain to glass. Tours include tastings of our core beers and seasonal specials. To book your brewery tour, please email us at office@1981brewingco.com or ask at the taproom.
What types of beer do you brew?
We specialize in craft beers including our signature Tropical IPA, German Kölsch, Island Pale Ale, and Pacific Pilsner. We also produce Cayman’s first locally crafted ciders – Apple and Guava. Our offerings rotate seasonally with limited edition brews available exclusively in our taproom.
Can I buy beer to take home?
Yes! We offer growlers, crowlers, and packaged beer for takeaway. You can also find our core range of beers and ciders at restaurants and bars throughout Grand Cayman. Ask our staff about current availability and packaging options.
Do you host private events?
We’d love to host your special event! Our taproom is available for private parties, corporate events, and celebrations. We offer customizable packages including exclusive beer tastings, food pairings, and brewery tours. Contact us at office@1981brewingco.com to discuss your event needs.
Are you dog-friendly?
Yes! We welcome well-behaved dogs in our taproom and outdoor seating area. We even keep treats behind the bar for our four-legged visitors. Just make sure your pup is leashed and friendly with other dogs and people.
